The Diamond Jubilee is the celebration of the 60th anniversary since the member of the Royal Family took over the thrown. In observance of this, the luxury car manufacturer Bentley will also limit the special Mulsanne Diamond Jubilee Edition to just 60 units. The team which will assemble this limited release of the Bentley Mulsanne will be the same team who worked on the State Limousine that was presented to Queen Elizabeth II back in 2002.

If you are planning to purchase one of these Mulsannes, Bentley assures you that you will feel like a royalty riding it as the vehicle boasts of handcrafted and exquisite features in honor of the Queen’s Jubilee. Some of the luxurious touches include the headrests embroidered with gold stitches and picnic table with gold overlay just like in the royal carriage of the queen.

The Diamond Jubilee Edition of the Mulsanne also features a range of hide colors from shades of red, blue, and white that depics the Union flag and distinguish it from the other Bentleys. The fine lines also use the same colors and are hand applied. Each D-pillar also gets the Bentley badges.

On all four doors of this ride are steel plaques which features the scripts “Diamond Jubilee Edition” and “Bentley Mulliner, England”.

Under the hood of this Bentley is the standard issue engine for the flagship sedan, a V8 twin turbocharged 6.75L powerplant that gives out 505 horsepower with a torque of 752 pound feet. The Mulsanne can go from 0 to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds. The top speed is pegged at 184 mph.

BMW was able to deliver around 14,000 units of the V10 M6 around the globe, but the shift to a V8 and the use of the M DCT gearbox will address major criticisms about the V10 M6. The new M6 will somehow trim down the numbers in terms of fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emission. The new M6 registers a 28.5 miles per gallon mileage and spews out 232 grams of CO2 per kilometer. The numbers are still not that great from the green perspective but at least a step has been taken to improve them. The numbers are not bad for something that gives out 560 hp and gets 0 to 62 mph in just 4.2 seconds. The top speed of this beast is limited at 155 mph.

The new M6 has a hefty tag price just a bit shy of getting to six figures. The coupe has a sticker price of £ 93.795 while the Convertible goes for £98,995. The numbers still does not take into account any options you might want to avail of like ceramic brakes among others.

The front track has an additional 30mm plus its carbon roof places it over the standard BMW 6 Series units. Other subtle but definite advantage are the revised geometry of the front end, forged aluminum components of the suspension, and a re- engineered rear subframe. The dampers can also be easily configured by pressing a few buttons.

In terms of technology the BMW M6 shares a lot with is sibling the M5 like the M trimmings and HUD inside. You will also get heated seats, Merino leather, and BMW nav system. Buyers may also opt for 20 inch rims over the standard 19 inch wheels, Night Vision, and upgrade to B&O stereo.

The smaller cars of Chevy focus on the aesthetics and the aerodynamics but their sports cars come packed with body treatments, carbon fiber enhancements, and different themes to give glory to the long history and achievements of the brand.

Although people want to see the small cars, all of the attention goes to the Corvettes and the Chevrolet Camaros:

This Corvette is in honor of the driver who the race driver who once ruled the NASCAR, American Le Mans, Trans-Am and other race car series. Ron Fellows was honored and inducted to the Corvette Hall of Fame in Kentucky this year. The Corvette is in Torch Red, gets carbon-fiber elements, and also a Z06 performance package.

This Camaro received interior and suspension upgrades. It is painted in red but Chevrolet makes use of a new shade and it also sports the traditional silver strip.

Imagine the 2012 Camaro ZL1 and make the picture a lot better with carbon fiber elements like the mohawk vent on the hood, interior, and spoiler. This car has a supercharged V8 engine that can produce 580 horsepower. Chevrolet also installed brakes from Brembo to make sure that the car can stop when you need it to. According to insiders, the carbon hood on this ride might make it to its production version.

First on the rumor agenda is the talk about Ferrari presenting the new 458 Spider model during this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show in September. The 458 Spider stems from its not-so-successful predecessor, the 430 Spider. The 458 Spider is rumored to have a top-down hard top and we just couldn’t wait to see how that will turn out. There’s also rumor circulating about a hardcore variant of the 458 Spider that will wow us in 2013. Experts assume that the hardcore variant would carry a different name.

We all remember the Ferrari California with is V8 engine located at the mid-front, right? Rumor is that it will be heavily redesigned in 2013 while the Ferrari Italia will be revamped in 2014, even though the Italia just rolled out into showrooms last year. A little premature for redesign but no official word yet.
The sports car brand is also said to make a replacement of its 599 GTB Fiorano sometime next year with the proposed replacement vehicle under the codename F152, which will get a V12, direct injection power plant.

Lastly, word is that the successors to top Ferrari models—Enzo, 288 GTO, F40 and F50—will make its debut any time in 2012.

De Tomaso Automobili SpA, an Italian carmaker, has created a good reputation with for its two-seater models. While no specific details of the Pantera Supercar have been released by De Tomaso, rumors arise that the reborn supercar will get an aluminum body. Speculations also favor that the curb weight of the Pantera will most likely be about 1,200 kilograms. Recently, the Pantera Supercar has been spotted doing a full test drive.

There were rumors that the Pantera Supercar was set to make its first appearance during the 2011 LA Auto Show but the recent news just confirmed that the media will catch its first glimpse on September 13th during the International Frankfurt Motor Show. The viewing for the general public will take place on the 15th.

While we wait for the Pantera to roll out into showrooms, we can always salivate for De Tomaso’s Deuville model which has been built in the 1970s. This vintage 5-seater beauty is packed with a turbocharged 2.8-liter V6 engine with 300 ponies and 295 lb.ft. Sometime in the next year, De Tomaso will also include a limousine model in its product line up.

The M600 comes with an APC or Adaptable Performance Control. The APC manages the power output, throttle response, traction, and boost curve. The system allows the driver to select different modes ifrom 650 hp down to 550 hp or 450 hp.

The M600 tips the scales at 1,200 kilograms or about 50 kilos lighter than the prototype model. This feature gives the car an excellent power-weight ratio of 520 hp per ton. Noble claims that the M600 can achieve 0 to 120 miles per hour in a matter of 8.9 seconds going to a top speed of about 225 mph or 362 kph.

A nice touch inside the driver’s cabin is the “missile switch” which controls the Traction Control.

The M600 is scheduled to go on sale before summer. We can expect the tag price to be announced near the date of the roll out.

The creation of GTHaus is obviously inspired by the M3 that recently conquered 24-hour race at Nurburgring and joined the 24h Le Mans. The re-styled bimmer gets wider rear fenders, reworked front bumper that has splitters, vented hood, chunkier side skirts, and rear bumpers designed with air vents. This whole package will cost roughly $12,500.

GTHaus also throws in new 20-inch alloy rims for the BMW M3, custom exhaust system that gives off a racer-like sound, and Brembo brakes.

As of the moment, GTHaus has not implemented any changes with the powerplant of the BMW M3. There are rumors though that the tuning firm is working on a supercharger kit.

If you are anything like me, you probably have never seen or heard about the brand new 2011 McLaren MP4-12C – well, I am here to tell you that this dream car is going to be amazing.  Not only is the 2011 McLaren MP4-12C one of the newest and highest performance cars going-to-be on the market but I can tell you that future sports cars are going to be modeled after this car.

This particular car is actually one of those that is twenty years in the making and I personally think that this particular car is one of the best.  It is actually based on the McLaren Technology Centre that is tucked away in England and it is pretty neat.
